Master Automotive Technician

Summary: Extensive vehicle diagnostic and repair skills.  Demonstrated knowledge of sophisticated diagnostic tools to improve engine performance and repair transmissions, steering, and suspension, brake, electrical, heating, and air conditioning systems.  In addition to mechanical skills, excellent customer service skills are imperative to explain repairs and suggest preventative maintenance to clients.
 
Salary: $85,000 - $125,000 with benefits
 
Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Test components and systems using diagnostic equipment
  • Discuss findings with customer and obtain approval to move forward with repairs
  • Replace and balance tires
  • Assist with oil changes and inspections
  • Maintain ASE certification
  • Keep a clean and safe workplace
 
Requirements & Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or GED certificate
  • Completion of trade school certificate program or mechanic training program (preferred)
  • ASE certification (required)
  • Auto technician or mechanic experience (5-10 years preferred)
  • Valid driver's license
  • Physical stamina
  • Basic computer skills
  • Customer-oriented attitude
